Tri Girl

One of our main purposes of this blog is to share the 'little things' in life that really matter! We hope that you have been able to use some of our ideas to put a smile on someone's face!

We don't typically share 'personal' things but I (Tara) have designed a new line just recently that I am so excited about and I know there has to be others out there that would be excited or know a 'trigirl' out there!

About 7 weeks ago - I registered for the Danskin Triathlon in Orlando! I felt led to be apart of this race after learning that the race was on May 10 (which is Mother's Day) and there is such a strong support for breast cancer in this race! I am doing it for my mother (who passed away from breast cancer 12 years ago at the age of 51).

I will not share with you all the details (i would never stop) on how this training has affected me emotionally, physically & spiritually as a person! I will just leave at...it has taken me completely out of my comfort zone and allowed me to learn so much about myself and allowed me to meet incredible people on the Y tri team and form life-long friendships! Training for any triathlon isn't easy - especially for women and that is what inspired me to create this trigirl line that I designed for our team's tee's and now this unique line of stationery.

Every girl that has ever done a tri or is in-training...needs her own stationery without a doubt....so get it girl or get it for someone else...makes more than the PERFECT gift!

As for the tri- we have 5 weeks left of training...aaahhhhh...already nervous...but I know it will be an experience I will never forget! I know my mom will be looking down with a special smile on that day - after all isn't it the 'little thing's' that matter...just a simple smile...oh how i would LOVE to see her smile right now!

Well said Tara. You will do great, nerves and all. You have such a great reason to do it too and I am sure your mom would be very proud!
